Die FDSG ist eine Nichtregierungsorganisation (NGO) mit Sitz in Hamburg, die für Freiheit, Vielfalt und Freundschaft steht. Gleichberechtigung und friedliches Zusammenleben sind die Eckpfeiler der Arbeit von FDSG. Die FDSG fördert und verwaltet Projekte in Zusammenarbeit mit Partnern im In- und Ausland. Seit 2013 leistet die FDSG humanitäre Hilfe in Syrien in verschiedenen Formen. Seit 2015 unterstützt die FDSG Bildungsprojekte in Flüchtlingslagern in Nachbarländern Syriens wie Jordanien und Libanon. Für ein Pilotprojekt in Syrien suchen wir eine:n Projektkoordinator:in, der/die uns während der Laufzeit dieses Projekts unterstützt.
Deine Aufgaben:
Gesamtkoordination und operative Steuerung des Pilotprojekts
Planung, Umsetzung und Monitoring der Projektaktivitäten gemäß Projektzielen
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit lokalen Partnerorganisationen und relevanten Stakeholdern
Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Zeitplänen, Budgets und Qualitätsstandards
Erstellung von Sachstands-, Fortschritts- und Abschlussberichten
Identifikation von Herausforderungen sowie Entwicklung praxisnaher Lösungsansätze
Unterstützung bei der Dokumentation von Lernerfahrungen zur Weiterentwicklung des Projektes
Dein Profil:
Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Entwicklungszusammenarbeit, Sozialwissenschaften, Politikwissenschaften oder vergleichbar
Erste Erfahrungen in der Projektkoordination, idealerweise in fragilen oder humanitären Kontexten
Kenntnisse der Region Syrien bzw. Westasien von Vorteil
Strukturierte, eigenständige und verantwortungsbewusste Arbeitsweise
Interkulturelle Kompetenz und ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse; Arabischkenntnisse von Vorteil

FDSG, a non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Hamburg, Germany which stands for freedom, diversity, and friendship. Equality and peaceful coexistence are the cornerstones of FDSG’s work. FDSG promotes and manages projects in cooperation with partners in Germany and abroad. FDSG has been providing humanitarian aid in Syria in various forms since 2013. And since 2015, FDSG has been supporting educational projects in refugee camps in countries bordering Syria, such as Jordan and Lebanon. For a special project in Syria, we are looking for a project coordinator to support us during the duration of this project.
Your tasks:
Overall coordination and operational management of the pilot project
Planning, implementation and monitoring of project activities in line with project objectives
Close cooperation with local partner organisations and relevant stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with schedules, budgets and quality standards
Preparation of status, progress and final reports
Identification of challenges and development of practical solutions
Support in documenting learning experiences for the further development of the project
Your profile:
Completed degree in development cooperation, social sciences, political sciences or comparable
Initial experience in project coordination, ideally in vulnerable or humanitarian contexts
Knowledge of the Syria or West Asia region is an advantage
Structured, independent and responsible approach to work
Intercultural competence and strong communication skills
Very good knowledge of German and English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
